Tyler
I decided that I am going to do better about writing on my blog and not just posting pictures. So I am going to write about Tyler today. Tyler and I have been through a lot together (and I mean A LOT) there was a time that feels not too long ago that is was just me and Tyler. He was there before Riann, Dominic, and even Jed. He has been my buddy through thick and thin. He has loved me unconditionally for years. He never cared what I wore, how I looked, what color my hair was, or how much I weighed. All he cared about was me smiling at him and having fun with him. He survived through my trials and errors. And through all my jobs. He was passed around and babysat by all my friends so I could go to work. They all loved him and he was so easy it all worked out, but IT WAS HARD. I am not saying everyone who gets pregnant in High School should keep their baby. I did because I have and amazing mom and family who helped and supported me. I still believe that my mom is to thank for how smart Tyler is today. She spent time reading to him everyday and developed his love for books. Tyler was around for my different boyfriends and possible dads. Everyone was drawn to him and loved to be around him. When I got engaged to Jed the three of us were inseparable. We took Tyler everywhere with us. Jed loved him so much! He said the minute we got married he was adopting him because he wanted him to be his. We started the paper work and found out we had to wait a year for it to go through. So we did. Exactly one year later he was adopted. It was a great day!! :) Then one month later we took Tyler to the San Diego Temple and we were sealed. A couple years ago we decided it was time to tell Tyler about his dad and that he was adopted. I was so nervous and I prayed over and over to help me through this. Sweet Tyler didn't even bat an eye. he said "As far a I am concerned dad is my dad and I don't what anyone to look at it differently" then at the end he hugged us and hasn't asked on more thing about it. He is so brave and such a good example to his little sister and brother. He has had an amazing life so far (too much to write but one thing being he went to Jamaica at 6 months old) He loves life and he is so smart sometimes it scares me! He gets amazing grades in school. (straight A's or very close) I have had my frustrations with him. My up's and down's. But I am so proud he is mine. I trust him completely. He is an amazing boy. Whoever he marries is going to be a lucky girl one day. Til then I hope he doesn't grow up too fast, I want him just the way he is!!! xoxoxoxoxo

Great post. I got a little teary eyed while reading it. What a sweet, little guy.
ReplyDeleteHe is such a wonderful boy, and a great example to his younger cousins as well, Kaden really admires him. Keep up the good work Tyler and never change, we love you.
ReplyDeleteHeather that was amazing. I remember watching him when he was only a few months old. He has always had a special place in my heart. There is no doubt in my mind that he was supposed to come to you. You have grown so much and I am so proud of you. You are always striving to do what is right. I have enjoyed spending more time with you, my sister. I love you with all my heart.
